What a hot weekend this is going to be. This is my thermometer right now, in the shade! It's just too hot for me to do anything fun outside, so I have found a cool spot in front of the fan with my book. I hope you are staying cool by doing some reading, too!

We had a blast at our Olympic Village event on Wednesday. More than a dozen families attended and shared what they had been reading and had some olympic fun. Thank you to our guest reader, Mr. Wilson, for sharing the story of Olympig. It was great to see everyone!

Calling all rising kindergarten, first and second graders! Join us for an Olympic Village event on Wednesday, July 6 from 3:30-4:30 in the library.
Mr. Wilson will be on hand to read a story, we'll have a snack, make a craft and participate in a few olympic events of our own. Bring your summer reading brochure---we look forward to hearing about all the books you are reading, listening to, and enjoying this summer! It promises to be a fun afternoon.
